Chadwick M. Bower

Chadwick Bower is the actor playing the role of 'Roger (the bar-fly)' in "A Woman's Scorn." He works in the Information Technology field where he has been employed for several years. Chad is new to the entertainment arena though he did work in a related area in Scottsdale, Arizona before coming to his current employer.

Chad was born in Georgia, moving to Arizona as a child. He served in the United States Navy from 1990 to 1992 as a Petty Officer 3rd Class. His job as an electronics technician took him from Great Lakes in Illinois to Orlando, Florida; Japan, Bahrain, and Diego Garcia. Chad has four children and his outside interests include Norse mythology, science fiction, and history. He has an eclectic taste in music that spans classical to death metal. He is currently taking classes at Mesa Community College.

Eara Betts

Eara Betts is the actress playing the role of 'Kate Johnson' in "A Woman's Scorn." Her love for the arts and entertainment was realized at a very early age, as she started piano lessons when she was five years old. Since then, Eara has had special training with her singing voice and the cello and has been a member of several choirs and orchestras. She has sung the National Anthem at Phoenix Suns games and was a member of the Phoenix Symphony Youth Orchestra. Eara is an accomplished cellist, pianist and singer.

Eara's talents are so varied that she has impersonated famous movie characters and pop-rock sensations from 'Darth Vader' to 'Scary Spice' at Greenway High School where she hosted several events on her school's campus while a member of the Student Council and Vocal Ensemble. As much fun as being an involved student was for her, Eara's love for acting didn't really emerge until after she graduated from high school.

While in college, Eara was cast in an independent full-length feature film as a support to one of the leading characters. She also gained some experience as a production assistant and second assistant to the cameraman. Since the making of that movie, Eara has learned a lot about filmmaking and acting.

At 5'3" with black hair and brown eyes, Eara has also worked as a print model and is currently a communication major with an emphases on organizational communication and performance studies. She will graduate from Arizona State University with her Bachelor of Arts degree. After college, Eara hopes to do something in either sports or film.

Erica Ashbrook

Erica Ashbrook is the actress playing the role of 'Nurse Swiatkowski' in "A Woman's Scorn." She has studied Theater Arts Training and acting for over six years. Erica has modeled, appearing in a national model magazine and several public appearances at car races.

Erica has an affinity for writing and a few of her poems have been published in several anthologies. She hopes to write a screenplay in the future.

At 5'8" with blonde hair and brown eyes, Erica has also appeared in ABC and PBS productions as well as on stage in several plays. Her skills include playing guitar, kick-boxing, stage combat and speaking in various accents and dialects to include British, Irish, Southern (American) and Spanish. She also plays tennis, swims and dances (jazz, modern and tap).

James E. F. Riley, Sr.

Jim Riley is the writer, producer, director and creator of www.onlinetheater.com. Jim was born in Chicago, Illinois where he attended elementary and Bowen High School, moving on to South Holland, Illinois attending Thornwood High School and eventually Pasadena, California where he graduated from Blair High School.

Jim joined the Army and was stationed in New Jersey, New York, Mainz (Germany), Florida and Texas. He explored the world and experienced the last of the Soviet Union on a mission to East Germany, hitch-hiked through Italy and Austria…honorably discharged from active duty Jim returned to California.

In California, he worked at a gas station market as a cashier, he delivered mail for the Postal Service and returned to school under the GI Bill. Jim was a guest columnist in the Santa Monica Outlook and was elected to serve as an alternate poverty sector representative on the Los Angeles City Community Action Board, later he was elevated to represent nearly all of West Los Angeles on the CAB.

Jim re-enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve and became a federal agent with the U.S. Department of Justice. He trained in the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Georgia and was then assigned to the Los Angeles field office where he helped to enforce federal immigration, smuggling, fraud and drug cases. After two years of intense Army training, he was commissioned an officer (2LT) in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Jim Riley held various assignments, including that of Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in the Los Angeles area, finally serving as a Company Commander in Pyong Tech, South Korea during a Team Spirit exercise.

At 5'11" with brown hair and blue-green (hazel) eyes, Jim worked on some feature films, television shows and commercials in minor background and extra roles. He wrote poems and stories, even finishing two novels, 'Frightened Whispers' and 'Miles the Bolde.'

'Discovered' on the Internet, Jim's short stories led people to ask about his novels. Over 550,000 hits are counted at the old 'Irishscribe' homepage! Jim's poetry is published on multiple sites as are some of his short stories. 'Frightened Whispers (the legend of a Mexican guardian angel and an American cop)' and 'Miles the Bolde (an 8th century Irish warrior-prince gets lost at sea and shipwrecked…in the Yucatan where he discovers the Mayan people and his destiny)' have been studied/read in seminars at the 'Universidad Pedagogica' (the Ped) in Caracas, Venezuela.

Michael J. Bruner

Michael is the actor portraying the role of Mike Johnson in "A Woman's Scorn." He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. During Mike's time in high school, he played many roles in one-act plays and other stage productions. In his many supporting and lead roles he was presented with Best Actor awards two of the four years he attended East Butler High School.

Michael was also awarded a scholarship in Theatrical Arts and attended Hastings College and the University of Nebraska. He was involved in virtually all stage productions, sometimes on-stage and sometimes behind the scenes as a sound technician or property master. Mike also worked on the campus radio station, creating his own on-air personality.

At 6'1" with brown hair and hazel eyes, Mike is an imposing figure and his mainstay has always been comedy and physical humor. He is currently working in the medical field as a registered nurse at an educational facility. Once again however, he is currently pursuing bright lights of showbiz.

Thai Doan

Thai is the actor portraying the role of the bartender in "A Woman's Scorn." He was born in Da Nang, Viet Nam. During Thai's time in high school, he did minor training in drama for two years at Thunderbird High School.

Thai was also an extra in a GTE systems commercial. He also worked in a 1992 Asian Fashion Show sponsored by many well known fashion sources.

At 5'8" with black hair and brown eyes, Thai's rugged good match his penchant for outdoor activities like four wheeling, skiing, surfing and snowboarding. His many interests include weight lifting and the martial arts (Tae Kwon Do and Shao-Lama Kung Fu). He currently freelances in the Information Technology field as a networking consultant.
