Begining on December 15, 2000, Onlinetheater's Poetry Corner is accepting poems of any style, topic or length for consideration.
Please feel free to email us with your work, or questions if you have any regarding the submission process.
Please include your email address if you have one along with any other contact information (full name, snail mail address, phone number and age) when submitting. If we do not receive any contact information, we cannot publish your work.
Brief descriptions (bio) about yourself and your writing experiences as well as a picture are not required, but desired so we might be able to use them in future developements of the onlinetheater website.
We will try to comment on as many submissions as possible, and you will be notified by email if your submission is accepted for publication on the Friends and Guest Poets Page. We prefer to use email for all our comments and will probably not use regular postal services. We accept submissions by email only.
With Onlinetheater publication of your work, we keep one-time international rights, meaning that we can use your piece in a collection or other publication, either online or print. You are completely free to submit your work to as many other publishers, and are welcome to publish with them with the understanding that Onlinetheater still has the right to publish your piece one more time. If you have a problem with this, please understand that we will not be able to use your work? Please let us know whom else you have submitted your work to (the same piece of work you are submitting), and whom else you have published your work with, thank you. (This will not hurt your chances of publication with onlinetheater.)
With publication in any of onlinetheater's printed anthologies, Onlinetheater will offer one copy to any selected authors or poets at cost.
When submitting, please include a URL to your site if you have one, we'd also like to ask (on a voluntary basis) that you put a link on your site to the onlinetheater homepage ("http://www.onlinetheater.com"). There is no obligation to do so and not putting a link on your site will not effect your chances of publication.
Please include with your submission a short sentence or two with how you heard of 'onlinetheater?'
Email us your submissions through email at submissions@onlinetheater
